JW Buxton Knight had many reports and articles written about himself and his works, however, it was not until he passed away in 1908, that Lys Baldry compiled "An Appreciation of the Art of John Buxton Knight", which gave an insight to the man and his undeniable qualities including his artistic talent for accurately representing nature and for not undermining his moral standards.
